What is Different at Deloitte?
How the Execution of the Talent Development Strategy is Delivering Improved Business Outcomes
Many companies set out to transform themselves. Few do. Deloitte is the exception that proves the rule. The session begins with the business case for change, driven by Six Strategic Conclusions, to transform the role of Deloitte’s Talent Development Strategy. The strategy, endorsed at all levels of leadership from the CEO on down, aims to differentiate Deloitte in the marketplace and ensure that development leads to business results. The linkage between these strategic conclusions and the Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning will be explained. The Six Disciplines, identified by Fort Hill Company through their work with hundreds of client organizations and thousands of corporate learners worldwide, turn learning initiatives from events into a process that delivers measurably improved business outcomes. The 6Ds, as the disciplines are known, provide a common learning and development framework across a complex, global enterprise with a focus on building capabilities desired by Deloitte clients. The session will end with examples of strategy in action and evidence of early results that show that the transformation of Deloitte is for real.
