Facilitating Break-through Innovation Series

NYHRPS Thought Leader Forums are small group discussions on emerging HR issues and on the impact specific business trends will have on the workforce. They are designed to address member needs for

  • Confidential conversations on crucial issues
  • Facilitated discussions that generate breakthrough solutions
  • Opportunities to share practical tools and techniques with others who have similar challenges

To ensure a challenging and rich conversation we invite guests such as CHRO’s, business leaders, emerging talent and industry experts who contribute their diverse perspectives. At the same time, we use a small group format to increase the likelihood that participants come away with actionable insights for their specific situation.

Member-driven Forums are unique. They focus on specific issues other associations rarely consider addressing, such as

  • HR talent challenges in midsize global companies
  • Collaborating on Talent and Compensation goals
  • Early focus on future capabilities like HR analytics
  • Change initiatives that are stalled by an acquisition

Our goal is to learn as much about individual member needs we can. The goal is to continually expand our value proposition to making relevant connections, establishing common ground, and spending time on productive networking.

Forums start with a request from a practitioner who has a business need or a professional who is thinking about the HR implications of emerging business trends and who want to initiate a dialogue with peers on a topic of importance and relevance to the NYHRPS community.

NYHRPS welcomes these member requests and has an existing infrastructure to support their design and implementation.

Open to all members, each Forum is designed specifically for those who have relevant decision-making or consulting responsibility in their own or a client’s organization. Members arrive prepared to participate in discovering collaborative solutions and support their colleagues in facing existing challenges. Afterward each discussion group has the option to continue the discussion in subsequent, follow-up face-to-face, on-line, or conference call settings.
