|Vice President, Marketing - Davina Askin|
Most recently, Davina Askin was Director, Global Talent Management for Kroll, Inc., the leading global provider of risk solutions. In this role, she led talent and succession planning, career development, performance management, employee engagement, culture, and professional development initiatives across the Kroll business segments.
Davina has significant consulting and in-house experience partnering with senior line management to help organizations achieve business objectives. She is known for her ability to develop sound strategies and lead teams to deliver results in challenging environments. Having worked in most human resources specialty areas, Davina has deep expertise in talent management and succession planning, change management, organizational design and development, employee engagement and retention, onboarding, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, compensation, communications, training design and delivery, and board-level search.
Before Kroll, as Talent Management Executive at Girl Scouts of the USA, Davina was responsible for developing and directing talent management and succession planning efforts, as well as aligning organizational processes and capabilities, to build leadership excellence across the Girl Scout Movement. Previously, she was Director, Organizational Development at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where she led the firm's talent review/succession planning, executive development, onboarding, competency, and mentoring efforts.
Davina's prior roles addressed workforce inclusion - at Lehman Brothers, where she was Vice President, Global Workforce Diversity and at Deutsche Bank, where she was on its Global Diversity Team as Vice President, Head of Women's Initiatives-Americas. In these capacities, her responsibilities included crafting strategies and implementing initiatives that improved attraction, development, retention, and promotion of underrepresented talent. Before transitioning into financial services, Davina was at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was Manager, Strategic Compensation for its US staff. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant in a variety of client-facing roles - change management at Andersen Consulting, compensation at Towers Perrin, and board-level search at Catalyst.
Davina holds an M.A. in organizational psychology from Columbia University's Teachers College, as well as an A.B. in sociology, with a certificate in women's studies, from Princeton University. Additionally, she completed the Civic Sector Leadership Fellows Program, earning a certificate from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and the National Human Services Assembly.
