Developing Resilience at AstraZeneca
Linda Hoopes, Ph.D. and Joseph Fletcher, MBA

In these turbulent times, how can we build the capacity of our organizations to better manage and lead change? Building personal resilience has helped AstraZeneca to do just that. Over the past 2 years, in response to employee survey results indicating a need to lead change better, AstraZeneca has taken significant steps to increase the change readiness of the organization by developing and delivering employee training on Personal Resilience.

A message from
our president

Over the last few years, NYHRPS has made substantial progress. This is due in large part to the efforts of our former President, Laura Mindek.  We have raised the level of programming, attracted higher attendance, augmented our paid membership and enhanced our website with more information on upcoming events - and we plan to do more: Our 2010 programming will be focused on three main topics: Post-Recession Talent Retention, New Trends and their Implications for HR and Strategic and Organizational Expectations of the HR Role. Please contact me any time with your comments, suggestions and questions at charlesrosenblum@msn.com, 201.230.1664
